Xian Lhasa Xian Flight

The flights between Xian and Lhasa provides tourists great convenience to air traffic in north western China. Xian Xianyang International Airport (XIY) is located 13 kilometers to the northeast of Xianyang City and 47 kilometers to the northwest of Xian City. Currently, Xian Xianyang Airport has two terminal buildings, T1 and T2, covering an area of 100,000 square meters.
Lhasa Gonggar Airport (LXA) is Tibet's gateway to the outside world. First put into operation in 1965, it is located in Shannan Region, about 98km (61 miles) south of Lhasa. Standing more than 3600 meters above sea level makes Lhasa Gonggar Airport one of the highest airports in the world.
