Arrive at Gangar Airport or Lhasa Railway Station. Pick up and drive to Lhasa City. Hotel check in.
Day 02 Lhasa(B)
You will be gathered by your local Tibetan guide from your hotel on the appointed time, and get seated in the bus shared with other tourists. In your first day of sightseeing on this high land, you will be taken to visit Potola Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkor Street. The stunning Potala Palace, built in 637 AD by Songtsen Gampo, was the former winter residence for the Dalai Lamas. Jokhang Temple built in 7th century and located at the heart of old town in Lhasa, is the center of Tibetan Buddhism. The circuit around it called Barkhor street, which is a good place to purchase souvenirs.
Day 03 Lhasa(B)Today, you will visit two important monasteries in Lhasa, the Drepung and the Sera. Drepung Monastery is situated at the foothill of a mountain and was founded by Jamyang Choeje in 1416. It was once home of 10000 monks and Ganden podrang in Drepung is famous it was the government centre during fifth dalai lama and later moved to the famous potala palace during fifth dalai lama. In the afternoon you will explore the Sera Monastery which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapa's disciple Jamchen Choeje. The most attractive is that Monks debiting is held there in the courtyard in the afternoon section.
Day 04 Depart Lhasa(B)
