Arrive at Gangar Airport or Lhasa Railway Station. Pick up and drive to Lhasa City. Hotel check in.
Day 02 Lhasa(B)
You will be gathered by your local Tibetan guide from your hotel on the appointed time, and get seated in the bus shared with other tourists. In your first day of sightseeing on this high land, you will be taken to visit Potola Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkor Street. The stunning Potala Palace, built in 637 AD by Songtsen Gampo, was the former winter residence for the Dalai Lamas. Jokhang Temple built in 7th century and located at the heart of old town in Lhasa, is the center of Tibetan Buddhism. The circuit around it called Barkhor street, which is a good place to purchase souvenirs.
Day 03 Lhasa(B)
Today you will visit Sera Monastery, famous for its Buddhism philosophical debate practice. Then, you will head to Norbulinka Palace, the beautiful Tibetan style garden.
Day 04 Lhasa / Namtso Lake / Lhasa(B)Day tour to Namtso Lake via Yangpachen hot-spring. Namtso Lake is one of the three most holy lakes in Tibet, also the highest salt lake. Afternoon drive back to Lhasa, you will be arranged to visit a Tibetan family, to see the real local life. Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 05 Lhasa / Yamdrok Lake / Gyantse / Shigatse(B)
Morning, drive up to Kambala Pass (4794m), you will have a glimpse of the tranquil turquoise waters of Lake Yamdrok below; one of the three holiest lakes in Tibet. Far in the distance you'll spot the towering massif Mt. Nojin Kangtsang (7191 m). Then short stop at Karola Glacier (5100m). After that, arrive at Gyantse Town and have a outside view of the famous Pelkhor Monastery, the most stunning architectural wonder in Tibet. Late afternoon drive to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse.
Day 06 Shigatse / Lhasa(B)Today, you'll have a chance to visit Tashilumpu Monastery, the home of the Panchen Lama. Afternoon 5-6hour drive back to Lhasa. Send you back to your hotels. The rest time will be free on your own.
Day 07 Depart Lhasa(B)
Transfer to airport or railway station for your next destination.
