Arrive at Gangar Airport or Lhasa Railway Station. Pick up and drive to Lhasa City. Hotel check in.
Day 02 Lhasa(B)
You will be gathered by your local Tibetan guide from your hotel on the appointed time, and get seated in the bus shared with other tourists. In your first day of sightseeing on this high land, you will be taken to visit Potola Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkor Street. The stunning Potala Palace, built in 637 AD by Songtsen Gampo, was the former winter residence for the Dalai Lamas. Jokhang Temple built in 7th century and located at the heart of old town in Lhasa, is the center of Tibetan Buddhism. The circuit around it called Barkhor street, which is a good place to purchase souvenirs.
Day 03 Lhasa(B)
Today, you will visit two important monasteries in Lhasa, the Drepung and the Sera. Drepung Monastery is situated at the foothill of a mountain and was founded by Jamyang Choeje in 1416. It was once home of 10000 monks and Ganden podrang in Drepung is famous it was the government centre during fifth dalai lama and later moved to the famous potala palace during fifth dalai lama. In the afternoon you will explore the Sera Monastery which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapa's disciple Jamchen Choeje. The most attractive is that Monks debiting is held there in the courtyard in the afternoon.
Day 04 Lhasa / Yamdrok Lake / Gyantse / Shigatse(B)Morning, drive up to Kambala Pass (4794m), you will have a glimpse of the tranquil turquoise waters of Lake Yamdrok below; one of the three holiest lakes in Tibet. Far in the distance you'll spot the towering massif Mt. Nojin Kangtsang (7191 m). Then short stop at Karola Glacier (5100m). After that, arrive at Gyantse Town and have a outside view of the famous Pelkhor Monastery, the most stunning architectural wonder in Tibet. Late afternoon drive to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse.
Day 05 Shigatse/ Lhatse/ Tingri (Shegar)/Tingri/ Rongphu Monastery(B)
Drive westwards the Friendship way to Tingri. There is about 90km bumpy road from Tingri to Rongpuk, road is under construction. From Tingri to E.B.C with the very rough road, pass the wild grassland, cross the rapids river and high mountains. If it is in clear whether, you can have a glimpse of 4 mountains which is 8000m high or more, such as: Mt. Lhotse(8516m),Mt. Everes(8848m), Mt. Qowowuyag(8201m),Mt Mayalu(8463m). Overnight at Rongphu Monastery Tent or Guest House
Day 06 Rongphu Monastery/Evrest Base Camp/Zhangmu (B)Early in the morning to see the sunrise from Rongpuk then to view Mt. Everest. It is fabulous and splendid. After walking arrive the place get on the local bus then use half of an hour arrive at Everest Base Camp( Or you also can trekking to Base Camp around 1.5-2 hours one way. It's interesting and much warmer, but hard to breathe). Hiking up to the top of the photo point to take pictures of the splendid- Mt. Everest. Then late in the afternoon around 13:00 go down from E.B.C back to Shegar. Then you will go west to Zhangmu with our tour guide. Overnight in Zhangmu.
Day 07 Shigatse / Lhasa (B)
Today, you'll have a chance to visit Tashilumpu Monastery, the home of the Panchen Lama. Afternoon 5-6hour drive back to Lhasa. Send you back to your hotels. The rest time will be free on your own.
Day 08 Depart Lhasa (B)
Transfer to airport or railway station for your next destination.
