Tashilhunpo Monastery Pictures

Tashilhunpo Monastery means "all fortune and happiness gathered here" or "heap of glory". The gilded canopies and turrets shining in the sunshine increases the astonishing glamour of sacred of Tashilhunpo Monastery. Tashilhunpo Monastery was found in 1447, as the seat of Panchen Lama. The main building is the Maitreya Chapel, the Panchen Lama's Palace and the Kelsang Temple.
