Itinerary (B: Breakfast, L: Lunch, D: Dinner)

Day 01: Arrive in Lhasa
You will arrive at the Gonggar Airport and be greeted by your tour guide. Then you will drive to Lhasa and have a rest at your hotel and get yourself acclimatized to the high altitude climate.

Day 02: Lhasa (B/L/D)
Your guide will take you visit Jokhang Temple, the Carpet Factory and the Tibetan Traditional Hospital. Afterwards you will visit Norbulingka Park. Afterwards you will be taken back to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.

Day 03: Lhasa (B/L/D)
Today you will visit the Sera Monastery. Afterwards you will then visit the Potala Palace, constructed in 637 by Songtsen Gampo, the first king of united Tibet. Later you will visit a Tibetan family and then be taken back to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.

Day 04: Lhasa / Shigatse (B/L/D)
This early morning you will be driven to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. On the way you will enjoy the beautiful view of Yaluzhangbu River. After your arrival, you will visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery, one of the six largest in Tibet. Afterwards you will be driven back to your hotel.

Day 05: Shigatse / Mt. Everest Base Camp (B/L/D)
You will leave in the morning for the Everest Base Camp. When you arrive at the camp you will be able to step out of your cars and walk around. That evening you will spend the night at a simple, local guesthouse.

Day 06: Mt. Everest Base Camp / Shigatse (B/L/D)
This morning you will walk around the Camp area, enjoy the magnificent view by yourself. Then you will be drive back to Shigatse. After arrival, you will be sent to your hotel for rest.

Day 07: Shigatse / Lhasa (B/L/D)
This morning you visit the New Palace of Panchen in Shigatse, built in 1447 by the Panchen Lama. Then you will be driven back to Lhasa there you will spend a night in your hotel.

Day 08: Depart from Lhasa (B)
After breakfast you will be sent to the airport and take your flight for your next destination.
