Itinerary (B: Breakfast; L: Lunch; D: Dinner)

Day 01: Arrive in Beijing
When you arrive in Beijing, your guide will greet you and take you to your hotel where you will have time to relax and settle down.

Day 02: Beijing (B/L/D)
Today's tour will first bring you to Tiananmen Square and then to the Forbidden City, the largest and most intact group of ancient structures in the Imperial Palace. After a few hours at the Forbidden City, you will eat lunch and then head to the Summer Palace, the resort of Empress Dowager Ci Xi. For dinner, you will eat Beijing's famous Peking duck and then head back to your hotel.

Day 03: Beijing (B/L/D)
Today's trip will be the amazing Great Wall of China, the only man-made structure on Earth that can be observed from the moon. After hiking for a few hours, you will have lunch and then visit the Ming Tombs, the burial site for 13 of the Ming emperors. At night you will watch an acrobatic show and then return to your hotel.

Day 04: Beijing / Xian (B/L/D)
Today you will fly to Xian, the ancient capital city of China. When you first arrive in Xian you will visit the ancient City Wall followed by the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Tonight's dinner will consist of an imperial dumpling banquet followed by a show of dancing and music from the Tang Dynasty.

Day 05: Xian (B/L/D)
After eating breakfast, you will visit the Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, widely regarded as the eighth wonder of the world and then visit the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.

Day 06: Xian / Xining (B/L/D)
After your arrival, you will visit the Dongguan Mosque. Then you will be taken to your hotel to check in.

Day 07: Xining / Train (B/L/D)
Today you will visit the Ta'er Monastery in the morning. In the afternoon you will be driven to the railway station to take your train to Lhasa. You will spend a night and day on the train.

Day 08: Train / Lhasa
Whole day on the train. Upon your arrival, you will be picked up at the railway station and driven to your hotel to rest.

Day 09: Lhasa (B/L/D)
Your guide will take you visit Jokhang Temple, the Carpet Factory and the Tibetan Traditional Hospital. Afterwards you will visit Norbulingka Park. Afterwards you will be taken back to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.

Day 10: Lhasa (B/L/D)
Today you will visit the Sera Monastery. Afterwards you will then visit the Potala Palace, constructed in 637 by Songtsen Gampo, the first king of united Tibet. Later you will visit a Tibetan family and then be taken back to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.

Day 11: Lhasa / Chengdu (B/L/D)
This morning you will fly to Chengdu, there you will visit Dufu Thatched Cottage, the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, and Wangjiang Tower. After that you will be taken to your hotel to rest.

Day 12: Chengdu / Shanghai (B/L/D)
Take a flight to Shanghai. Upon landing in Shanghai, you will be picked up by your guide and brought to your hotel.

Day 13: Shanghai (B/L/D)
Today you will take a tour of China's largest city, which is also China's principal port located on the Yangtze River Delta. You'll visit the Bund, Nanjing Road, Yu Garden, and the well-known Temple of City Patron. After that you will be brought to your hotel for rest.

Day 14: Depart from Shanghai (B)
After breakfast you will be taken to the airport for your next destination.
