Question:We will be 4 adults traveling to Tibet for about a week and would like to include Shigatse in our itinerary. How long it will take from Lhasa to Shigatse? Is anything to visit on the way? How long is the best for us to travel in Shigatse? Any advice will be appreciated.

Answer:It takes around 7 hours drive to travel to Shigatse from Lhasa. You will pass Yamdrok Lake, Karola Glacier, Palkhor Monastery and its Kumbum Stupa on the way. Tashilunpo Monastery is the must see in Shigatse. So one night there will be good if you don't have plans to other places. Feel free to contact us if you need any Shigatse travel service.
